RBW (Korean: 알비더블유), also known as Rainbowbridge World or Rainbow Bridge World, is a South Korean entertainment company founded by Kim Jin-woo (Korean: 김진우) and Kim Do-hoon (Korean: 김도훈). The company's predecessors, WA Entertainment and Rainbow Bridge Agency, merged to create RBW on March 24, 2015.[1] Its current subsidiaries are RBW Japan, RBW Vietnam, All Right Music, Cloud R, WM Entertainment, and DSP Media.
The label debuted the K-pop girl group MAMAMOO on June 19, 2014.[2] MAMAMOO is the highest selling group in RBW according to the company's IPO report released in 2021.[3]
RBW's 2021 IPO report disclosed that Solar and Moon Byul's contracts last until June 17, 2024.[3][4] On June 11, 2021, it was announced that Whee In will not renew her contract with RBW and subsequently left the company, but that she has also signed an extension agreement to continue doing future group activities with MAMAMOO until December 2023.[5] Hwa Sa's own contract with RBW lasted until June 17, 2023,[3] and it was announced on June 27, 2023 that she has left the company;[6] she is similarly still part of MAMAMOO.
